The Treeing Walker, like most coonhounds, is thought to be descended from Bloodhounds and English foxhounds. They are similar in appearance to Bluetick Coonhounds, however, they do not have the ticking of the fur in the white areas. Like all hounds, Treeing Walkers are generally good with small children, other pets.
