In Europe he is still known as the Korthals Griffon. The Wirehaired Pointed Griffon is an excellent family dog who is trustworthy and has a tremendous willingness to please. Easy to train, he makes a wonderful pet for a strong confident owner. An active breed he exhibits pointer-like behavior but has a terrier-like attitude. A pleasant companion and a skillful, multipurpose hunting dog.
