Born September 27th,2007 to Clouds Rest Remington ( dam, "Remi") and Paprika & Parsley of Eatonville ( sire, "Pappy".) They were all born healthy, have had their dewclaws removed and tails cropped. They will be recieving their shots soon and will be ready around November 20th. There are five males and two females. Two of them have white spots on their chests but are well within the requirements of the breed. They will be registered to the Boykin Spaniel Society very soon.
Both Pappy and Remi are registered with the BSS.
Remi is a sweetheart, loves to sit on laps and be petted. I have not hunted her much, but her sense of smell and eyesight is fantastic.
Pappy is the consumate hunter. He is independent and would rather be hunting or chasing a tennis ball or swimming. He is an extremely intelligent hunter, often analyzing situations to put the birds between the hunter and himself.
The pups have been handled and socialized by anyone who sees them, and our 14 month old son loves playing with them. I have introduced them to quail scent at an early age and they now chase little scented tennis balls of grouse and pheasant scent.
We believe that these pups will have the best disposition of their parents, making them a great companion, hunter and pet. We would prefer that these pups go to a hunting family, as this is what they are bred for. (Imagine someone forcing you to change your career that is something you live for!)
They are for sale for $600.00. Shipping is up to the buyer. There are only 4 males left. The shots updated, and we have started training. We would prefer that the buyer pick up their pup themselves. We are nestled next to Mt. Rainier about an hour and 15 minutes from SeaTac airport.
