"Wheaties are Sweeties!"

We have 2 females and 3 males available; born September, 2nd, 2006. They are ready for families who want a pet who is a great companion and playmate. Regardless of whether you get a puppy from us, we promise you there is no better breed that we know of for a family pet and companion.
Years ago when we were looking for a breed of dog to get, a friend said, “Once you have a Wheaten you will never want any other dog.” She was right, 17 years later we still have, and now breed Wheaties. The bumper stickers say, “Wheaties are Sweeties”, and it’s true. They are people dogs, incredibly social and loyal, without being protective.
I am a counselor with a home office, seeing many children per week, even children who are afraid of dogs. They love our Wheatens.
They stay puppies for a very long time and they are always ready to play. Wheatens are very attentive and playful without being intrusive.
There are a few things that you may want to be aware of:
1. You need to have a fenced yard, anybody walking by will become their next best friend.
2. They are NOT car smart.
3. They will jump on people to give them kisses and hugs.
4. They can be trained not to jump, but it is in their nature.
As puppies, they look like a darling little bears. They are very attentive and loveable. As adult dogs, their hair turns a blondish apricot. It is very beautiful with some waviness. They do not shed and require grooming every few months.
We require that puppies be spayed or neutered within one year to ensure the quality of the breed. We ask for a $100.00 deposit, to be returned after we receive verification from the vet.
We prefer to keep the puppies until they are about 10 weeks old. We have found that they are very stable, confident, almost trained by their mother, and ready to go to a new home after this time.
Cost: Only $950.00 per puppy.
